FAQs

Otherlands is committed to being Accessible. For more information about what we can offer follow this link. Our team is reachable at accessibility@otherlandsfestival.com - please contact us directly to discuss your needs.

We are working closely with Scone Palace, Local Councillors, the Police and other authorities to ensure that any potential negative impact on the neighbourhood, particularly to local residents, is kept to a minimum.

There will be a small level of production and contractor traffic on the build-up and break down days. The breakdown days will return the site to its original condition.

We have set aside a limited number of discounted tickets for Local Residents. You can access these tickets here.

If purchasing these tickets you must show ID with the following postcodes at the Festival gates (PH1-PH8, PH12-PH14, DD1-DD6, KY13-KY14). Failure to show this would incur a charge at the gate to enter the Festival - £10 Weekend Tickets / £40 Day Tickets.

Access to our campsite is included in Weekend Camping tickets only. There is no access to campsite for Weekend Non-Camping / Day tickets.

No re-entry will be allowed with Weekend Camping tickets. Pack smart and only bring what you will be able to carry to the gates in one trip. For Non-Camping Weekend tickets there will be no re-entry permitted in a day. Once you leave the site you will only be able to access again the following day. No re-entry for day tickets.

The campsite will open Noon Friday 11th and close Noon Monday 14th.

For Non-Camping Weekend / Day tickets - the main arena will open 4pm Friday and Noon Saturday/Sunday. Campers will be able to access the main arena from 10am Saturday and Sunday.

The festival entrance will close overnight, you will not be able to enter the festival between the hours of 10pm and Noon.

There will be showers in the general campsite available to use for a small fee. Shower passes can be purchased on site.

Pamper station passes will be available to purchase on site at the Wellness Sanctuary and will include access to hot showers, changing facilities, mirrors, hairdryers & straighteners.

A small amount of alcohol will be permitted into the campsite - 8 cans or 1 bottle of wine. No spirits allowed. All glass bottles must be decanted into plastic bottles.

Boutique camping is available as an add-on to your Weekend Festival ticket - these will be available to purchase soon.

Yes, we will have a separate campsite to allow for campervans - there will be an additional fee to access this.

Pitches are sized 5x8m - if your vehicle is bigger than this you will need to purchase two passes.

Toilets and showers will be situated within the general campsite.

No tents allowed.

No power will be provided.

There is a limit of 1 LPG canister per campervan.

Volunteer with us.

Volunteers will be required to work 2 x 6 hour shifts throughout the weekend and must have full availability for the duration of the festival and be on site from 9am Friday 11th August at the latest.

Volunteering roles include wristbanding guests at gates, stewarding campsites and general stewarding.

As the campsite will be open 24 hours, some shifts will be allocated during the night. We endeavour to give volunteers a fair spread of shifts. Shifts will be given during the volunteer briefing on the first day of the event on Friday the 11th of August.

The campsite will be accessible to volunteers from Thursday the 10th of August.

If you are successful in your application to volunteer at Otherlands you will be required to pay a £50 deposit. This will be refunded to the volunteer after the festival, providing both shifts have been carried out.

Volunteers will be provided with their festival wristbands for the following day once each shift is completed [e.g. If Fridays shift is missed, the volunteer will not be granted their Saturday wristband and will not be able to access the festival arena].

Volunteers will receive 1 food token per shift [2 in total].
